Information on the procedure

Every person is entitled to issue a request for providing digital accessibility for a web page, mobile application, or any of their elements. They can furthermore request access to information using an alternative method, for example by having a digitally unavailable document read to them or hearing the description of a movie clip which lacks audio description, etc.

The claim must include:

- personal data of the claimant

- indication specifying the concerning web page or mobile application

- the method of contact

Should the claimant apply for an alternative method of information access, they should specify their prefered type of presentation.

The public identity shall fulfill the claim no later than seven days since the claim was issued. If it is impossible to keep that time, the public entity must inform the claimant about the time when it will be possible to realise the claim, with the time not being longer than two months since the claim was issued. If it is impossible to provide digital accessibility, the public entity may offer an alternative method of access to information.

In the event that the public entity refuses to realise the claim for an alternative method of access to information, the claimant can issue a complaint on providing digital accessibility to a webpage, mobile application, or an element of an webpage or mobile application.
