Privacy Policy
In accordance with Article 13 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), the Jagiellonian University informs that:
1. Your personal data is processed by the Jagiellonian University, 24 Gołębia St., 31–007 Kraków.
2. The Jagiellonian University has appointed the Data Security Officer, Data Security Officer's Office, Czapskich str. 4/27, 31-110 Cracow. The Officer can be contacted by email: iod@uj.edu.pl or by phone: 12 663 1225.
3. Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
• the performance of the contract concerning purchase of tickets – GDPR Art. 6 (1)(b);
• the performance of legal liabilities imposed on the Data Controller due to the contract – Art. 6 (1)(c);
• realisation of the legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller as regards possible redress claims or defence against claims related to the contract – RODO Art. 6 (1)(f).
4. Your personal data is necessary to conclude and execute the aforementioned contract as well as to fulfill the legal liabilities of the Data Controller. The consequence of not giving personal data will be the lack of possibility for the conclusion and execution of the contract.
5. The collected personal data may be made available to public institutions and bodies which are entitled to process personal data on the basis of common legal regulations, and to subjects processing personal data on request of the Data controller due to the performance of their tasks.
6. The collected personal data in matters of the first name, last name, email address will be made available to a separate data controller – Dotpay Sp. z o.o., with its seat in Kraków, 30-552 Kraków, at 28b Wielicka St., in order to fulfill the contract mentioned in Article 3 and effect the payment.
7. Your personal data will be processed for the time necessary to fulfill the contract, including mutual settlements, and for the time necessary to establish legal claims or defend from established legal claims.
8. You have the right to: access information about processing of legal data and entitlements given by the GDPR, as well as the right to have personal data deleted from the database of the Data Controller (unless further processing is necessary to fulfill legal claims or to establish, redress, or defend from claims) and the right to limit processing and transferring of data, and to raise objections against processing – in cases and under conditions prescribed by the GDPR.
9. Your personal data will not be subjected to automated decisions or profiling.
10. You have the right to submit a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you decide that the processing of Your personal data breaches the regulations of the General Regulation.
